Last term, both Year 9 and Year 10 students attended a presentation by Next Steps South West to find out more about the first steps into higher education. The talk was designed to separate the facts from the fiction in relation to higher education and encourage students to start thinking about their future pathways and career options after Year 11.

Whilst it is often difficult for students to decide on their future career paths at a young age, having the opportunity to find out more about higher education and guiding students to consider their options early on is important and can be highly motivational.
