GCSE results day brought incredible achievements for our Year 11 cohort, with over 80% attaining Grades 9 to 4 in both English and Maths. An impressive 85% of students secured five or more GCSEs at Grade 4 or above, including English and Maths, with a remarkable 12 students achieving a coveted Grade 9 in English.

Amongst the high achievers was Theo, who expressed his delight at his results. “I’m so happy. I worked really hard and revised thoroughly, and I am so pleased it paid off! The support from my teachers was amazing, and I can’t wait to come back for Sixth Form, studying Biology, Psychology, and English Literature.”

For Eva, this year’s success was particularly meaningful. Despite facing significant health challenges in the six months leading up to her exams, she managed to achieve Grades 8 and 9 across the board. “I am so happy! I had a really challenging year, but I studied hard throughout my recovery, even when advised not to. I didn’t even think I would sit my exams at one point, let alone get these results!” Eva plans to return to sixth form to study English Literature, Physics, and Psychology.

Emily was equally thrilled, though surprised by her success. “I feel shocked! I didn’t expect these results, but I did work really hard,” she shared. Emily plans to pursue a career as a Paediatric Nurse, inspired by her own experiences in hospital as a child. “I’m so pleased my GCSE results have allowed me to do this!”

Anita Frier, Head Teacher, shared her delight, stating, "Today’s results are truly outstanding, with grades and progression rates reaching new heights. The dedication and effort our students have demonstrated over the past five years have culminated in these remarkable achievements. We are immensely proud of them, and celebrating together today is priceless."

The accomplishments of our students reflect not only their hard work and resilience but also the incredible support provided by our dedicated teachers and the encouragement of their families. These results have set a strong foundation for their future studies and careers, and we are excited to see what they will achieve next, many of which we will be able to watch through Sixth Form.
