Year 13 student Liam, walks 95 Miles for Cancer Research UK
Our amazing Year 13 student, Liam, has shown incredible dedication to supporting Cancer Research UK. On May 25th, he undertook a remarkable journey, walking for a staggering 18 hours and covering an impressive distance of 95 miles.
Liam is an integral part of the ‘Mixed Allsorts’ team, which tirelessly fundraises throughout the year for Cancer Research UK. You can find the Justgiving page for the team below if you wish to donate to this important cause:

While the JustGiving page showcases a portion of their fundraising efforts, the ‘Mixed Allsorts’ team has been actively involved in various activities beyond online donations. From supermarket collections to bake sales, bag packing to community events, and generous sponsorships and donations, their commitment to the cause knows no bounds.
Liam says "It was an honour to walk with so many people, and it is such a worthy cause to support those affected by Cancer".
This year alone, the Relay 'family,' comprising all participating teams, has amassed an astonishing £34,000 for Cancer Research UK. It's a testament to the power of collective action and the determination of individuals like Liam.
Well done Liam on this remarkable achievement!
Relay for Life:
“Relay For Life celebrates the power of community fundraising in the fight to beat cancer. Teams of friends and family fundraise for life-saving research, then unite as a community at a weekend festival to honour everyone affected by cancer and celebrate the progress we’ve made in research.”
