The event served as a platform to celebrate the remarkable achievements of our students over the past year.

Amidst an atmosphere of pride and camaraderie, students were recognised for their outstanding accomplishments, receiving accolades ranging from full awards to section awards in categories such as physical fitness, skill development, expeditions, volunteering, residential, and overall achievement. Additionally, a selection of special awards was bestowed upon students who demonstrated exceptional dedication and excellence.

Reflecting on their experiences, students shared their insights and reflections:

Bronze awardee Sophie said, “The expeditions were particularly challenging, but we learnt to work together as a team to achieve our goals (despite the cows trying to distract us). Additionally, learning map reading as my skill helped me greatly with my ability to navigate the route.”

Silver recipient Prisca, beamed “My Silver Duke of Edinburgh's Award (DofE) experience was a roller coaster of emotions! It was like a mix of excitement, exhaustion, and everything in between. It's a journey I'll never forget, filled with challenges that shaped me into a stronger and more resilient person.”

Faith, one of the few Gold awardees said, “The main difference between Gold DofE and the other levels is the residential section. This personally turned out to be my favourite section to complete. Unlike my peers who chose to do a variety of other residentials, from sailing to DIY, I chose to do mine at a respite centre for people with disabilities in London.”

As the evening drew to a close, heartfelt gratitude was extended to the dedicated staff members whose unwavering support and guidance paved the way for student success. A resounding applause resonated through the room as the collective achievements of our DofE students were celebrated, acknowledging their determination, perseverance, and unwavering commitment.

To our DofE students, you are the embodiment of the Duke of Edinburgh's ethos. Your resilience and dedication serve as an inspiration to us all, and we are immensely proud of your accomplishments.
