Students started the day by taking part in Masked Reader where they had to guess the staff member reading and the book they were reading from.

During first break, students gathered in the main hall and enjoyed a wonderful performance of ‘Revolting Rhymes’ by the Drama department. During second break, it was the turn of the English department to delight them with readings from ‘Dirty Beasts’. 

Students have also engaged in some English World Book Day themed lessons focusing on female writers due to International Women’s Day falling this week too.

Students and staff thoroughly enjoyed the activities and many students said that they are already looking forward to World Book Day next year!
