Year 12 Gold DofE students embark on Dartmoor Adventure

Year 12 Gold Duke of Edinburgh (DofE) students embarked on an exhilarating journey during their first practice walk across the Tors in Merrivale.

Despite the biting cold, the Dartmoor landscape unfolded before them in all its breathtaking beauty, bathed in the warm glow of sunshine.

The students, undeterred by the freezing temperatures, embraced the opportunity to explore the rugged terrain and immerse themselves in the walk. Amidst the stunning backdrop, the students showcased their exceptional navigation skills and meticulous planning, ensuring a smooth and successful journey across the Tors. Their unwavering determination and teamwork were evident at every turn, as they tackled challenges with resilience and positivity.

The practice walk served as a precursor to the exciting adventures that await this remarkable group of students. With boundless enthusiasm, they are poised to conquer new heights and push the boundaries of their abilities.
