Clubs, Community, and Connection at Annual Clubs Fair

The main hall was buzzing with excitement this week as students gathered for the annual Clubs Fair, discovering an incredible range of extra-curricular opportunities designed to build confidence, support academics, and foster lifelong friendships.
From high-energy team sports to creative arts, the fair showcased something for every interest:
- Creative Arts & Performance: Hands-on creative outlets including art, clay, textiles, photography, and zine creation, alongside performing arts opportunities in drama, dance, choir, bands, and instrumental music lessons.
- Sports & Fitness: A wide range of athletic opportunities, including team sports such as football, rugby, netball, and basketball, as well as structured fitness and conditioning sessions.
- Academic Boosts & Career Pathways: Specialised clubs focused on STEM, coding, science, and languages, alongside dedicated subject revision support, university preparation, and career exploration groups.
- Inclusion, Leadership & Life Skills: Student-led student voice groups, sustainability committees, life skills workshops, inclusive peer support groups, and campus broadcast media channels.
Year 9 student Molly said,
"I'm so excited to sign up for the Future Medics and Dentists club. There are so many amazing options this year, and it’s a great way to build up skills for the future while having fun."
Year 9 student Josh agreed, adding,
"The atmosphere at the fair was great. I've been wanting to get involved with Campus Radio so I’m excited to go next week!”
Joining a club is one of the best ways to gain essential leadership skills, boost physical and mental well-being, and strengthen future university or career applications.
Don't miss out—clubs officially go live on Monday 21st September!
