On Tuesday, our Year 10 students took part in a fantastic Charity Challenge, organising a pebble art competition alongside a bake sale. The event was a wonderful display of school community spirit, with students and staff coming together to support a great cause.
There was lots of creativity on show during the pebble art competition, which proved very popular. Everyone enjoyed taking part, and the top three entries were awarded valuable house points in recognition of their effort and imagination.
One Year 10 student said, “It was really nice to see everyone getting involved and supporting the charities. The pebble art was fun, and it felt good knowing we were helping others at the same time.”
The bake sale was equally successful, with plenty of delicious treats on offer and strong support from across the school. Thanks to everyone’s enthusiasm and generosity, the event raised a total of £61.56, which will be split equally between our two House Charities.
Well done to our Year 10 students for organising such a successful and enjoyable Charity Challenge, and thank you to everyone who supported the event.
