The visit was designed to help students explore the wide range of opportunities available after school, inspiring new ideas and ambitions for their futures.

At UWE, students gained a real taste of university life and the diverse courses on offer. Some toured the Business department and the state-of-the-art Engineering facilities, while others visited the Medical department, learning about the university’s advanced healthcare training programmes.

The day continued at the UCAS fair, where students met representatives from universities and apprenticeship providers, receiving valuable guidance on educational and career pathways and learning how to achieve their goals.

It was a productive and inspiring day, giving our Year 12 students a clearer sense of direction as they plan the next two years of study and prepare for their future careers.
