Bidding farewell to such a talented and driven group is never easy. Pride, reflection, and anticipation filled the air as we looked ahead to all that awaits them—be it university, healthcare apprenticeships, or other exciting paths. Their futures are bright, and we have every confidence in the difference they’ll make.

The afternoon was truly one to remember. Students and staff came together to mark this major milestone, with a special presentation that highlighted the achievements, growth, and memorable moments our Year 13s have shared during their time at Scott College. It was a chance to recognise their dedication and resilience over the past two years.

As part of the celebration, students were proudly awarded certificates—symbols of appreciation for their hard work and contributions throughout sixth form.

Following the assembly, the Sixth Form team treated our Year 13s to a well-deserved meal at Pizza Express. It was the perfect chance to unwind, share stories, and enjoy each other’s company outside of school—a fitting end to a memorable day.

As the event drew to a close, emotions ran high. Hugs, handshakes, and heartfelt goodbyes were shared as students parted from teachers who had supported and inspired them throughout their academic journey.

To our Year 13 leavers: we wish you all the very best as you begin this exciting new chapter. Whatever direction you take—university, vocational training, or stepping straight into the world of work—remember that you have the ability to shape your future and leave a lasting, positive mark on the world.
