Home Instead Visit Inspires Sixth Form Students

We were delighted to welcome Clare and Anne from 'Home Instead' to speak with our Year 12 and 13 students about the vital work their organisation does in providing high-quality, personalised domiciliary care.
During the session, Clare and Anne highlighted the importance of delivering care that is tailored to the unique needs of each individual. They also shared insights into the extensive training their care professionals receive to ensure they can offer compassionate and informed support.
Anne led the students through some of the training exercises used to help carers understand the challenges faced by individuals living with conditions such as arthritis or visual impairments. This hands-on insight gave students a deeper appreciation of the empathy and understanding required in the care profession.
Our sixth form students listened with great interest and came away with valuable knowledge about the workings of a global care organisation and the meaningful careers available in the health and social care sector.
We are grateful to Clare and Anne for their time and for offering such an informative and engaging session.
