Marking the 80th Anniversary of VE Day

Today, our school community came together to commemorate the 80th anniversary of Victory in Europe (VE) Day—a moment of national significance and remembrance.

We joined the rest of the country in observing a two-minute silence to honour the courage and sacrifices of those who served. This reflective moment was followed by a vibrant street party-style lunch, where students and staff celebrated together, embracing the spirit of unity and community.

To support those seeking a quieter space for personal reflection, dedicated areas were made available during break times, offering a peaceful setting for remembrance.

A heartfelt thank you to all the staff and students who helped make this day both meaningful and memorable.
