Strengthening Our Community: Campus Unites for Culture of Kindness Day

Our entire campus recently came together for a dedicated Culture of Kindness Day - an inspiring event where students, staff, and families collaborated to reflect on, define, and celebrate what kindness truly means across our school community.
Directly embedding our core school values - Work Hard, Be Kind, and Be World Class - the day provided an invaluable opportunity for students to work collaboratively in cross-age and cross-campus groups. Together, they explored what kindness looks like in everyday school life and developed thoughtful strategies to address and prevent acts of unkindness.
Student Leadership & Student-Led Action
Our students took center stage throughout the event, delivering passionate presentations and sharing their unique perspectives on building a welcoming, inclusive environment.
"It was amazing collaborating with students from other year groups. It proved that when we all choose kindness, we make our school a place where everyone feels welcome and valued." - Ava, Year 10
Following the event, hundreds of students wrote letters sharing their reflections and personal ideas for the future. We are now selecting a dedicated student group to meet and transform these fantastic suggestions into tangible school initiatives—ranging from student-designed promotional posters and videos to new kindness tokens and reward systems that will recognise positive behaviour every day.
Connecting with Parents & Carers
To wrap up a brilliant day of collaboration, we welcomed parents and carers onto campus to share our collective progress, highlight key outcomes, and celebrate together over some delicious food!
Culture of Kindness Day was a powerful reminder that when our community works together, we create an environment where every student can thrive, feel supported, and embody what it means to be truly world-class. A huge thank you to all the students, staff, and families who made the day such an inspiring success!
