Duke of Edinburgh & CCF Celebration Evening 2026

Our campus community proudly hosted the annual Duke of Edinburgh (DofE) and Combined Cadet Force (CCF) Celebration Evening, bringing together students, staff, and families to recognise an outstanding year of achievement.
The evening was a fantastic opportunity to celebrate the dedication, resilience, and hard work shown by our students across all levels of the Duke of Edinburgh Award and CCF programme. Students were recognised for their achievements in volunteering, skills development, physical challenges, expedition success, and residential experiences, alongside a number of special awards for exceptional commitment and performance.
Throughout the evening, students reflected on their personal journeys and growth. Nicola, Silver award winner shared:
“I was really proud to receive a special recognition award for my Skill in RockFit. It challenged me physically and mentally, but I enjoyed pushing myself and developing something I’m passionate about. It’s been a great part of my DofE journey.”
Chloe, Bronze award student added:
“Completing my Bronze DofE was a really proud moment for me. It took a lot of effort and resilience, especially during the expeditions, but it made achieving it at the end even more rewarding. I’m now really excited to progress on to Silver.”
CCF cadets also spoke about the valuable skills and experiences gained through their involvement, highlighting the confidence, leadership, and teamwork developed through the programme.
As the evening came to a close, we extended our sincere thanks to the staff whose continued support and commitment make these opportunities possible. The room was filled with pride and celebration as we recognised the achievements of all our students.
To all of our DofE and CCF participants—you continue to demonstrate resilience, ambition, and determination in everything you do. We are incredibly proud of your achievements and look forward to seeing what you accomplish next.
