Bronze DofE Students Pitch In and Prepare for Adventure

Our Bronze Duke of Edinburgh pupils took part in a practical workshop today, focusing on tent pitching in the school’s gym zone. The session gave students the opportunity to develop key expedition skills in a supportive environment.
Pupils worked attentively and carefully in teams, demonstrating excellent communication and problem-solving as they tackled the challenge together.
Year 9 student Sam said, “It was challenging but really fun! I didn’t realise how important teamwork is when putting up a tent.”
The workshop provided valuable hands-on practice, helping students build confidence and teamwork ahead of their upcoming expeditions after half term.
