Year 12 Students Join Prestigious Realising Opportunities Programme

We are delighted to announce that 13 Year 12 students have been accepted onto the Realising Opportunities programme, an exciting initiative in partnership with Exeter University.
The programme provides a fantastic opportunity to gain insight into university life, with the added benefit that completion can lead to reduced offers from nine Russell Group universities.
The scheme was officially launched on Wednesday, with students travelling to Exeter by train for the first session. They enjoyed a tour of the campus, received advice from a university expert, and gained an introduction to what it is like to study at a top-class university.
Students were full of praise for the experience. Tarka said:
"It was amazing to see the campus and get a real feel for university life. I feel so motivated now!"
Dawid added:
"The advice from the university expert was really helpful — I learnt so much about how to prepare for studying at a Russell Group university."
Fabian reflected:
"Yes I agree, I can’t wait to start the programme and explore more about university opportunities."
This marks the beginning of an inspiring journey for our students, giving them invaluable experience and support as they prepare for higher education. We look forward to seeing all that they achieve throughout the programme!
